We have worked with this non-profit organisation - a community of weavers in Central India – since 2017. They hand loom, hand dye and hand weave cotton fabric, mostly working from home or in small collectives. They are paid approximately 44% above market rates for handwovens in their region.
Cut and sew: Mehera Shaw
We have worked with this Fair Trade certified factory since 2017. They are based in Jaipur, India. They have a small cut and sew factory and a block printing unit. We last visited these makers in 2024.
