Radiance | Explore Eastern Arrernte

Our latest collection Radiance features our Central Desert artwork drawing on the shapes and colours of Eastern Arrernte and the delicate wildflowers that emerge after the rain. Radiance was inspired by Emily’s visit to Eastern Arrernte and Anangu lands when all the flowers were in bloom. The bold shapes of Kata Tjuta and the deep blue sky in the background, the Broad-Leaf Parakeelya, Honey Grevillea and Mulla Mulla intertwine to form a colourful, radiant desert bouquet.

Nancybird acknowledges the traditional owners of Arrernte and pay our respects to all custodians of these lands, past and present. It was a truly inspiring trip for Emily to travel on country and take in its never ending beauty. This year via our membership with 1% for the Planet, we are donating a portion of our gross sales to Seed Indigenous Youth Climate Network, who are building a movement of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people for Climate Justice.

We hope you enjoy this inspiring travel journal of photos Emily took on her trip. Perhaps you can spot some featured flowers.
