Made by Hand: Block Printed Home Collection
There is a particular pleasure in the things that slow you down. A tablecloth that invites you to linger. A pair of pyjamas that stretches the morning out. A blanket that brings everyday comfort.
Our 2026 Home Collection is built around that feeling. Designed in the Nancybird studio and brought to life by artisan makers Mehera Shaw in India, this capsule includes hand block-printed napery; tablecloths, table runners, napkins and tea towels, alongside a considered sleepwear range of dressing gowns and pyjama sets, and a Jacquard-knitted cotton blanket.
Home Made by Hand. Available for Pre-Order Now.
Two original prints, Cockatoo and Geo Flower, anchor the napery and sleepwear. Each piece has been hand block-printed using carved wooden stamps, hand-mixed AZO-free dyes, and the kind of individual attention to craft that gives every piece its particular quality.
Earthy ochres, soft chartreuse, warm natural linens and gentle greens. Pieces that sit together naturally and wear in beautifully. This is a collection made for autumn tables and winter mornings, for entertaining slowly and resting well.
MADE BY MEHERA SHAW
Napery and sleepwear capsule were made by our artisan makers Mehera Shaw‚ a business operating to Fair Trade principles, practising the centuries-old tradition of hand block printing in India. Block printing is exacting work: the wooden blocks are hand-carved, the dyes hand-mixed to match exact Pantone colour, each stamp placed individually - the registration is not perfect, but that is part of the beauty. No two pieces are identical.
Discover more about Mehera Shaw, the people behind the process, why this kind of making matters, and what it means to us to work this way.
All dyes used are AZO-free and eco-friendly. Read more on the Journal.
“A capsule collection of handmade goods, made to be enjoyed at home for quiet mornings, long breakfasts, the table set for friends, a cosy tea on the lounge.”
The blanket, knitted in lightweight cotton in a jacquard construction, inspired by the landscape layers of tea trees and hills along the South Gippsland coast, a sweet, all-season piece for beds and sofas alike.
