Reimagined: Ileigh Hellier
This season, we’ve reimagined some of our favourite past artworks into a very special capsule of limited Kantha Quilts for the home. Each quilt is lovingly handcrafted from remnant fabrics and past season’s hero prints, creating a small collection of patchworked pieces — each one telling a story of the artisans we work with and the fabrics we treasure. These quilts continue our commitment to transforming leftover materials into something meaningful and joyful.
Among these few one-of-a-kind pieces is a quilt that holds a particularly special story: our collaboration with artist Ileigh Hellier.
Ileigh’s artwork first appeared in our collection last year — a body of work deeply rooted in her relationship with place, colour and the natural world.
To honour this connection, we have reinterpreted one of her original artworks into a limited Kantha Quilt, layered with our remnant fabrics to create a piece that feels both tactile and painterly — a quilt as comforting as it is artful. Only a small number exist, each one stitched slowly and thoughtfully, allowing Ileigh’s work to live on in a new, functional form.
In the spirit of community and care, all proceeds from the sale of this quilt will be donated to Ileigh’s chosen charity, The Colony Bees, an organisation dedicated to education and the preservation of healthy bee populations. It’s a cause close to Ileigh’s heart, and one that aligns beautifully with the values woven throughout this collaboration: gentleness, stewardship and connection to nature.
We’re delighted to share these images of Ileigh with her quilt — a glimpse into the warmth and artistry behind this special piece. A keepsake for the home, a work of art you can wrap around yourself, and a way to give back to a cause that supports the tiny creatures shaping our world.
“My work is an emotional response to the landscape — a reflection of colour, movement and the quiet moments found in nature.” Ileigh Hellier
