Sales – Part-time.

3 days per week

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

The role would involve (but not be exclusive to) taking care of all existing wholesale accounts, as well as assessing new stockist enquries, and researching new stores. Seasonal tasks involve taking part in trade fairs, showing the collection interstate and regionally, and holding showings at our HQ. It may also involve phone answering and administration.

The successful applicant will possess the following:

Excellent phone manner and written communication skills
Ability to work independently on the road and within a small team at our headquarters
Experience in using Microsoft Office and MYOB
Ability to problem solve and follow issues through from start to finish
Experience in retail (at least 2 years) or a similar role in wholesale sales
Well presented, with an interest in Australian fashion and design
Skills in merchandising and PR would be viewed favourably

Have you been there? It really is the loveliest store along that street, with big windows at the back of the store, old wooden floors, really the perfect match for our wares.

We’re only there for a few weeks, and for all of you up Sydney way, it’s a good chance to view the full range in person! We get a heap of calls asking where to find particular products up in Sydney, and we have some great stores like Pentimento and Sublime who store a great edit of the collection, but it is always nice to choose from the full range!

Head along and say hello to the cute Woo ladies while you’re there! They have gorgeous clothes in beautiful natural materials, worth a slow peruse for sure!

The new Autumn Winter range can be previewed on our website from today, and will be in stores and online over the next couple of weeks.

We’d love to hear your thoughts on the range on facebook!

The hours needed are 9am-5pm on Mon to Wed and Friday (these times are not
negotiable).

The role involves processing online and wholesale orders, incoming and
outgoing deliveries, picking and packing, quality control, invoicing,
assessing stock levels, moving and arranging stock in warehouse, website
maintenance and general administration duties.

The successful applicant will possess the following:

Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently and within a small team
Highly proficient in using MYOB, Excel and Outlook
Ability to problem solve and follow issues through from start to finish
Interest in Australian design

Please note that this is a physical role and occasionally involves lifting
heavy boxes.

I’m excited about this year!

We have a new team member, Sarah, who is working with me on lots of new designs – so lovely to have a new perspective on the range and a fresh pair of design eyes! I hope that you see an evolving of the nancybird aesthetic over the coming seasons, still very much “us”, with some new surprises to come.

We’re expecting the new Autumn Winter range to arrive in the next four weeks, and we’ll be showing you some peaks of the range between now and then! Like the new Ziggy Clutch:

It’s a colourful leather and fabric clutch in three colourways… This is the Orange.
